A few of my favorite gulf coast captures

It’s not always the most glamorous shots that capture my attention. Goofy pelicans, shy gators, playful dolphins…they all make me appreciate the beauty in life’s quiet moments.

A brown pelican makes a splash by the Kemah Boardwalk in Kemah, Texas.

My family is split between the East Coast and the West Coast, but for me, my whole life has been spent on the Gulf Coast. It’s a different life here, an easy kind of coastal living, where everyone waves and says hi, where the warm air and water welcome you to our shallow shores, and while the water might not be crystal clear, life is still good.

Enjoy a few of my favorite shots of life by the Bay.
