For as long as I can remember, my family has always had a dog. So, growing up, I never really saw too many wild rabbits in the yard. However, after I got married and moved into an apartment, my husband and I decided it would be best to wait on getting a pup of our own. When we finally moved into our home a few years ago, we put our plans for a dog on hold again with the arrival of our son. While I miss having a pup running around, the absence of one has actually let us experience some really neat wildlife sightings, like bats, bunnies, and more! Here is a video I recently captured of a wild rabbit munching on some grass in our backyard. They love to hang out on our lawn and duck under the kayaks for cover! I’ve really enjoyed watching them hop around and look forward to seeing them every spring and summer!
